Happiness will never come to those who fail to appreciate what they already have. Gautama Buddha
From Pamela’s Desk
How many of us fail to see what we really have until it is gone. I heard a story about a military solider that had his toes blown away on one foot when fighting in a war. He shared that he was a strong young man but when his toes were gone off one foot, he was completely handicapped. He discovered that his BIG toe was so important to his balance that he would never walk again without a brace. He shared how he never realized that something so small when you look at it, was so powerful and needed to his ability to just stand up and walk. Overtime-We all discover that it is the little things we take for granted are what we need to do the big things in life. Sometimes to late!
