“Nothing in the world is worth having or worth doing unless it means effort, pain, difficulty…I have never in my life envied a human being who led an easy life. I have envied a great many people who led difficult lives and led them well.” Theodore Roosevelt
From Pamela’s Desk
Today you can watch how people are literally giving everything up and the system and documents that assist them in reaching out of their despair to accomplish their dreams; and overcoming their own or other’s failures…even if they willingly signed on the dotted line. Caution to those waving the white flag to be relieved of their fears and suffering in exchange for promises of a life of no pain; you may temporary feel suffering subside. In remembering the childhood movie Pinocchio, especially the scene on Pleasure Island. Seeing how Pinocchio and his friends become deceived by the leaders on the island with promises of a life with no rules or responsibilities. Sadly for some, it may be too late when discovering that it’s our own suffering that helps us all, overcome every situations to achieve true success … and the deep relationships we create finding our way out of our suffering that we truly discover who we are. There is no easy path to what we seek, so stay the course ….and the rewards can be better than imagined.
